Can you do magic?

posted Jun 20, 2016 11:03:00 by Comfy
Watching 'Now You See Me' and 'Now You See Me 2' makes me think that magic is really awesome. I could only do simple tricks when I was younger; now I have forgotten most of it. If I have another chance to learn more, I think I would. What about you?

I've always wanted to learn how to do magic. I remember as a kid watching magic being performed and thinking how amazing it was. What's the best way to learn magic, through books or through someone teaching you?

When I was small, I used to read a lot about magic. I always thought people who can perform magic are amazing. Playing magic was always my favorite activity.

I don't know any magic tricks and I'm not exactly interested to learn how to do them, but I've always enjoyed watching magic shows. I just don't think I can pull off the performance so convincingly like those professionals do.

In the past I've tried to do magic but wasn't too good at it. I'm still fascinated by it, though. It amazes me how the magician can do sleight of hand so adeptly that it goes unnoticed by the audience. I suppose a lot of it has to do with distracting the crowd, as well.

I can do a simple card trick my grandfather taught me, but that is it. I certainly admire people who are into magic and illusions, and I certainly enjoy watching magic performances. I find them fascinating. You have to wonder how they did it!

That's also why I always enjoy watching shows which uncover the secrets behind the magic tricks. Sometimes I make correct guesses, other times I'm amazed because the methods can be so complicated and require precise timing. I feel like a kid again watching these shows.
