House maids

posted Jul 25, 2016 09:55:10 by KnightShade
Since I started living alone, I had to handle all house chores on my own, from cooking to doing laundry. As my schedule gets busier, I feel like it's time to hire a helper to attend those things. I also appreciate house maids even more because doing house chores is no small feat. Do you have a house maid?

I wish I could have help with all of that. With three kids I could definitely use the help with cooking, cleaning, and doing the laundry. It would be even better if I could get this person to stay with me all of the time instead of just showing up first thing in the morning.

I do not have a maid, but for a time I did do house maid work - cleaning an entire house and doing their laundry. As you said, it is no small feat. Especially when it was a house of 6 and just me doing the work. I would recommend that if you intend to get a house maid, to get the most out of their services, pick everything up before they come and make a list of things that you want them to focus on. You may even consider having them rotate chores to avoid having the same things cleaned that don't need it each time and having some items get avoided altogether.

Oh my, I wish I could afford a housekeeper. That would be totally awesome. There are several chores that I despise doing, so having a housekeeper to do the dishes or clean the bathroom would be totally amazing!
