Do we have any artists here, either for pleasure or professional? I dabble with painting and drawing, and I love doing both. It's my stress outlet. I prefer drawing only because there is no clean up when you draw like there is with painting.

Do you "create" anything? If you do, what?

I am an amateur photographer. Actually, I jokingly call myself an "Androidographer" because I love taking pictures with my Samsung Galaxy Note 5, which has a fantastic camera, and then using filters and editing software to really create some beautiful images.

I consider myself fairly artistic and always have been. Currently, I enjoy jewelry making and pottery. I tend to go through phases with what interests me. In the winter time, I like to crochet and knit. Whatever I can do that makes use of my imagination and keeps my hands busy, I enjoy.

Yes, I actually do "create" things. I don't actually draw or paint, but rather I do crafts. There are so many different items throughout my house and although it isn't really the most obvious interpretation of art when you think of the word, crafts are considered art as well! Hope to see more comments from fellow crafters! (:

GreenEyedGhoul, I guess I can be considered a crafter, too, since I enjoy refinishing furniture. I absolutely consider crafting as creating art. Anything that you do with your hands is art to me. Absolutely!
